Mark Guzdial is a Professor of Computer Science & Engineering and Director of the Program in Computing for the Arts and Sciences at the University of Michigan. He is an ACM Fellow, ACM Distinguished Educator, and received the 2019 ACM SIGCSE Outstanding Contributions to Education award. He founded the International Computing Education Research (ICER) conference and invented the Media Computation approach to introductory CS. He has written over 2,500 blog posts on computing education research.
